Canon India Pvt Ltd., India’s No. 1 Complete Digital Imaging Company, announced the launch of innovative imaging software My Image Garden for its PIXMA range of inkjet printers along with new Ink Efficient Series and color variant models.

My Image Garden
My Image Garden is an exciting new feature designed to bring out the user’s creativity. This software works by integrating all of the printer functions into one cohesive and simple-to-use experience. With My Image Garden, users will be able to access functions like scanning and printing, as well as integrate features of other software packages such Creative Park Premium, Fun Filter Effect and Full HD Movie Print.
My Image Garden also has an amazing new ability to automatically create appealing new content from photographs. The software helps users organize and arrange their photos, sorting them by events, dates, or even people involved. Once these photos are sorted, it can pull out photos from one group and then arrange them into creative applications such as calendars, collages, or cards.
Creative Park Premium
Creative Park Premium is a premium online content service available exclusively to users of select Canon PIXMA printers who use full set of Canon Genuine Canon Inks. The application allows users to download various contents including photographs, paintings or illustrations from universally celebrated artists who are part of Creative Park Premium. The users can use the images of the renowned artist to create amazing products like collages, greeting cards, calendars, postcards, stickers, disc labels, posters and paper crafts. It is a great platform that not just introduces the unique cultural art of different regions to the user but also allows them to amalgamate these splendid pieces to create yet another beautiful image. Users can make personalized –t-shirts, photo-frames, kids can make innovative projects for their schools etc.
Print your Days
For users with content on Facebook, Canon has released Print Your Days, an app nested within Facebook itself to help user’s print Facebook photos of their friends and family. The power of Print Your Days goes beyond basic printing, as it helps users create beautiful photo collages using one of 24 fun background themes. The software is intelligent enough to automatically adjust the layout of the photos for optimum balance within the collage. Users can then further individualize these collages by adding text to each photo and fun photo effects.
New attractive and convenient design Canon PIXMA MG 3170 printer
Canon also introduces PIXMA MG 3170 inkjet printers with first in the industry to offer color options. PIXMA MG 3170 is available in pristine white, wine red and piano black. The new range of PIXMA printers has the ability to print high quality documents and photos, the printer has an inbuilt technology called FINE (Full-photolithograpy Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) technology which helps in achieving high-quality and high-speed printing with a combination of high-density microscopic nozzles and improved cartridge movement speed.
Wireless connectivity
Select range of PIXMA printers comes with Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing for Wired LAN connections via IEEE802.11b/g/n standards. Besides the easy connectivity to PCs, notebooks and tablet PCs, the Wi-Fi capability also grants the PIXMA printers Apple AirPrint support. Apple AirPrint allows iOS devices to seamlessly connect to the PIXMA printers without installing any device drivers.
Another benefit of the Wi-Fi support is access to Canon’s PIXMA Cloud Link. With this service, select PIXMA printers are capable of printing online photos and useful stationery templates directly off the Internet, without requiring a PC. Select PIXMA Printers also supports Google Cloud Print, which enables you to print Gmail messages or Google Docs from your smartphone or tablet.
